The doctor graduated from the medical department of the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University, and gained specialization under the supervision of outstanding doctors, incl. prof. Jacek Sieradzki and prof. Jerzy Szczeklik. He is the author and co-author of many press articles, popular science books and specialist publications, and one of the initiators and promoters of minimally invasive surgical treatment of thyroid nodules: the method of ethanol injection and innovative laser thermoablation.
