Fibrin (I-PRF Injectable Platelet Rich Fibrin) is a concentrate of youth – allowing to obtain spectacular but fully natural effects. It is a natural material obtained from the patient’s blood. It is used in case of many diseases – orthopedic – and in aesthetic medicine, as a preparation for tissue regeneration, thanks to the ability to stimulating processes it works naturally in our body.

The scope of action of fibrin is:

• stimulation of the healing process of soft tissues (muscles, tendons),
• reconstruction of damaged tissues (e.g. after injuries or surgery),
• accelerating bone union and joint healing,
• stimulating collagen synthesis – remodeling, revitalization, regeneration, skin rejuvenation.

In the Aesthetic Medicine Center of our clinic, we carry out treatments using fibrin for:

• restoration of firmness and elasticity of poor facial skin (with visible signs of fatigue and wrinkles),
• regeneration of the skin of other areas of the body – e.g. hands, neckline, neck,
• treatment of androgenic alopecia, regeneration and acceleration of tissue healing after laser therapy and plastic surgery, filling and regeneration of acne scars.

The great advantage of treatments performed with the use of fibrin is the lack of the risk of allergies, thanks to obtaining it from the patient’s own blood.

Non-steroidal and anti- inflamatory drugs must not be used for several days before and about a week after the procedure. Immediately before the procedure (on the same day) you should take care of the appropriate body water – drink min. 1.5 liters of water. Follow the recommendations after the procedure given by a doctor or a cosmetologist – for some time you should refrain from using the swimming pool, sauna or practicing sports, sunbathing and hot baths, so that the skin has time to regenerate calmly.

Aesthetic medicine treatments with the use of fibrin can be divided into 3 stages:

• in the first stage, an experienced aesthetic medicine doctor takes a little blood (10–20 ml) from a vein in patient’s elbow flexion,
• in stage 2, the blood is centrifuged to obtain the desired fraction,
• in 3, a delicate injection (puncture) of the skin is performed with the administration of the preparation.

Fibrin provides biostimulation effects noticeable about 2-3 weeks after the treatment. Skin has better blood supply, its’ color improves, and collagen fibers responsible for resilience are remodeled, flexibility and youthful appearance is also immediately noticed. To maintain the regeneration effect it is worth to undergo a series of 2-3 treatments every 3-4 weeks.
