The shock wave therapy is the most modern treatment recommended by our clinic, especially for people who have decided to unergo body shaping treatments.

The shock wave is aimed at enhancing the therapeutic effectiveness of the treatments mentioned – it is the so-called combined therapy, which brings spectacular results. At Medical Clinic Podhale, we have specially prepared procedures of this type, thanks to which we guarantee obtaining great results quickly and very effectively.

Mode of action

The shock wave uses infrasound -acoustic waves with a very low (inaudible to humans – less than 16 Hz) frequency. They penetrate the epidermis, stimulating cellular metabolism, improving microcirculation and modeling collagen fibers. It is a non-invasive and side-effect method, designed to fight cellulite and stubborn fat deposits.

Thanks to the improvement of microcirculation and the mechanical effect on adipose tissue, skin becomes smooth, elastic and regains its lost firmness. The first effects can be expected within 2-4 weeks, after the recommended 4-6 sessions. The expected results of the treatment sessions are:

  • elimination of cellulite,
  • improvement of skin elasticity, firmness and tension,
  • breakdown of adipose tissue,
  • reduction of body circumference in areas subjected to therapy,
  • reduction of post-pregnancy stretch marks,
  • elimination of puffiness.

The indications for the procedure include:

  • cellulite, including 3rd and 4th degree,
  • sagging skin (on the abdomen, thighs, buttocks),
  • local obesity,
  • swelling of the lower limbs,
  • uneven skin after liposuction.

We cordially invite you to take advantage of the offer of our cosmetology center, where a team of experienced cosmetologists will take care of your body.
